CAMBRIDGE — In a tri-meet Friday, the Cambridge-South Dorchester High School varsity wrestling team nearly swept the opposition, with a 64-12 victory over Snow Hill, and a 42-36 loss to Parkside High School.

“We were a little bit of the underdogs on that one, we’re young,” Head Coach Dan Catron said of the Parkside meet. “I’ll guess we’ll have to take the split.”

Snow Hill did not contest all weight classes, giving up several to forfeits.

Viking wrestlers’ next meet will be Jan. 9, 2015, at home, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
