WASHINGTON, D.C. — Former Cambridge-South Dorchester High School standout wrestler Myron Dockins is having a successful first year as wrestling head coach at Hardy Middle School in Washington, D.C. He will lead his student athletes to the District of Columbia Interscholastic Athletic Association championships for the first time in over a decade.
The event will take place Thursday at McKinley Tech High School at 151 T St. NE Washington D.C. Action on the mats will begin at 4 p.m.
In addition to his coaching duties, Mr. Dockins is a behavioral health technician at Hardy Middle School. After leaving C-SD, he went on to Frostburg State University and earned his degree at West Virginia University in 2013, where he continues as a graduate assistant.
