BREAKING: Board of Ed to announce new superintendent
CAMBRIDGE - The Board of Education of Dorchester County announced Thursday that a special meeting will be held Friday to announce the appointment of the interim superintendent.
Dr. Diana Mitchell has resigned as superintendent.
The finalists for the post are Cambridge-South Dorchester High School Principal Dave Bromwell and Caroline County Supervisor of Instruction Lisa Hopkins.
The announcement will take place in the board's meeting room at 700 Glasgow St. in Cambridge at 9 a.m.
