Beverly R. Szameit

SALISBURY - Beverly Robinson Szameit died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at her home. Born in Weedsport, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margery Lanphere Robinson Sr.
She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church for over 40 years, where she was the church organist and choir director. She was a graduate of Mardela High School and Goldey Beacom College.
Over her career, she was employed by Dulany Foods, Dresser-Wayne, Adkins Potts & Smethurst, Peninsula Regional Medical Center, and worked for 28 years as the Medical Director's Secretary at Deer's Head Hospital Center.
She is survived by her four children; Dawn Decker, Robert Walter, Starr Walter and Frederick Walter; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary F. Robinson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David W. Robinson and Raymond Edward Robinson Jr.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Salisbury. Burial was in Mardela Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
