KENT ISLAND - Barbara Kettler Mills, formerly of Bethesda, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2007, surrounded by her family at her home.

She was the wife of the late Milton E. Kettler and also the late James H. Mills.

She is survived by two daughters, Ellen Paseltiner and her husband, Scott of Wilmette, Ill. and Susan Mills of Waltham, Mass.; two sons, Robert Kettler and his wife, Charlotte of McLean, Va. and Peter Kettler and his wife, Karen of Wilmington, Del.; 10 grandchildren, Sara, Adam and Harris Paseltiner, Taylor, Forrest, Caroline and Peyton Kettler, Hugh, David and Ellen Kettler; and six stepgrandchildren, Janine, Sherry, Michelle and Lynne Mills and Amelia and Hannah Munger.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at Joseph Gawler"s Sons, Inc., 5130 Wisconsin Ave., NW from 2 to 3 p.. and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Services will be held at The Metropolitan Memorial United Methodist Church, 3401 Nebraska Ave. NW, Washington, D.C., at 11 a.m. on Friday. Burial will be at Rock Creek Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to The Wesley Theological Seminary, 4500 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Washington, D.C.
