CAMBRIDGE — As your community newspaper, we have enjoyed a close, personal relationship with our readers and have appreciated feedback so freely shared with us over the years. That’s why we’re excited to launch a new survey today to learn more about what you like and want in your newspaper.
We strive to bring you the most informative and timely news and realize there is always room for improvement. Your feedback will help us improve our content — in print and online.
The questions center on the types of news you seek, your buying decisions based on our advertisers, and attendance of our events. We recognize that your time is valuable, and your comments are important to us. The survey includes 20 questions.

The Dorchester Banner survey is part of a greater effort with the Maryland-Delaware-D.C. Press Association.
Several newspapers in the region — including our sister publications in Maryland, the Salisbury Independent, Dorchester Banner and Crisfield-Somerset County Times and the Delaware State News — will run the survey at the same time. It should provide a valuable look at community journalism throughout the region once responses are collected.
