Anthony 'Tank' Orlando Keene
TRENTON, N.J. - Anthony "Tank" Orlando Keene, son of Leroy Ralph and the late Linda Keene was born April 21, 1967 in Cambridge. He passed away Nov. 23, 2007 in Trenton.
He attended the public schools in Dorchester County and was employed at numerous jobs in Dorchester and Talbot counties. Anthony moved to Trenton in 2003 and his most recent job was with Rees Scientific at the time of his death.
He was affiliated with Zion Baptist Church in Cambridge. While in Trenton he became a member of the Sons of Solomon Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his grandmother, Lena Bolden of Hurlock, who raised him from day one, the one he called his mother; father, Leroy Ralph; son, Dontrell Keene of Hurlock; daughters, Zabriyon Wongus of Hurlock and Angela keene of Trenton; four brothers, Duane Ralph, Allen Fooks, Lee Roy Ralph, all of Cambridge and Jaden Williams of Hurlock; a sister, Katrina Taylor of Cambridge; two aunts, Ella Stanley of Cambridge and Dorothy Ralph of Virginia; two great-aunts; three great-uncles and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition his brothers of the Sons of Solomon Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruby Ralph; an aunt, Cynthia McGee Aldridge; great-grandparents, Floyd and Annie Keene; three great-aunts, Hattie Day, Mary Molock and Jeannette Dennis and a great-uncle, Floyd Keene Jr.
The family will receive viewers at the Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Cambridge from 6 to 8 tonight. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the New Life Christian Church and Missionaries, Phillip Street, Cambridge. Burial will follow at Meekins Neck Cemetery at Golden Hill.
