SALISBURY - Angeline Ward Townsend passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017. Born in Crisfield, Dec. 11, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Mollie Cook Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John "Jack" Townsend; and three brothers, John, Walton and Rudy Ward. Angie graduated from Crisfield High School, Class of 1940. She worked forW.E. Ward Seafood Company before moving to Salisbury in 1971, and was employed with Salisbury Steel Co. until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of St. John's Church in Fruitland, the United Methodist Women, The Happy Timers of Salisbury, and the Crisfield Chapter of AARP. She is survived by three sons, Dicky and his wife, Joan, Johnny, and Kenny and his wife, Debbie; brothers, Kenny, John (Ped), and Jerry and his wife, Fran; sisters, Eleanor Anne Nelson, and Joy Price and her husband, Don; five grandchildren, Michelle, Mark, John John, Jennifer, and Bianca; 11 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Church in Fruitland, on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, P.O.
