FAIRFIELD, Pa .- Amy S. Hussey, 42, formerly of Cambridge passed away on Friday, June 15, 2007 at her residence.

She was born in Cambridge on March 31, 1965 and was a daughter of Lake R. Slacum Jr. and Julie Pritchett Slacum.

Mrs. Hussey graduated from Cambridge-South Dorchester High School in 1983. She attended East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. and graduated from Salisbury University in 1987 with a bachelor"s degree in business administration. She was the first class to graduate from Perdue School of Business.

Mrs. Hussey worked for the Daily Times, ATT and Beneficial Finance. On April 12, 2001 she married Robert Hussey. She had a love for animals and she was an avid reader.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Hussey of Salisbury; three stepchildren, Jason Hussey, Jill Hussey and Jenna Hussey, all of Salisbury; her parents, Lake and Julie Slacum Jr. of Cambridge; a brother, Lake R. Slacum III and wife, Cindy of Wilmington, N.C.; sister-in-law, Gale Culver of Delmar, MD; a brother-in-law, William Hussey of Salisbury; mother-in-law, Marie Hussey of Salisbury; aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Adams Jr. of Cambridge; uncle, David F. Pritchett and wife, Lorraine of Cambridge; special cousins, Steven Adams of Cambridge, and Laurie Cowin of Covington, La.

Mrs. Hussey was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Orion W. Pritchett Jr. and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lake R. Slacum Sr. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, at Old Trinity Churchyard with the Rev. Fred Bahr officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Westminster Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 285, Westminster, MD 21158.

Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
