SALISBURY - Althea "Tee" O'Connor died on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born in Beaver, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Earl and Laura Keagy Speerhas. She graduated from American University where she met and married her husband, Patrick, in the course of one semester. She was active in the League of Women Voters, on the Board of Directors for Montgomery General Hospital; served as Executive Director for the Maryland Association of Counties, was a Past President of the Nanticoke Watershed Alliance and a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy O'Connor. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Patrick O'Connor; five children, Kathleen Allen, Terri Odell, Kevin O'Connor, Maureen Plunkert and Christopher O'Connor; and 33 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Holloway Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A private committal service will be held on Sunday, July 3.
