Allen "Boh" Somers, 65 CRISFIELD - Allen "Boh" Somers, 65, died Monday, July 14, 2008 at his home. Born in Crisfield on Oct. 7, 1942, he was the son of Allen "Froggy" Somers of Crisfield and the late Mary Virginia Riggin Somers. He was retired from the former Carvel Hall Cutlery in Crisfield where he worked 33 years until their closing and was currently an employee of Tidewater Express in Crisfield working for 30+ years there. Boh liked all sports but he was an avid Philadelphia Eagles football fan. He enjoyed having his family over for Sunday night football parties and playing horseshoes at summer cookouts. He also loved going to Midway Slots and staying up late with his son playing Playstation. But most of all, Boh loved being with his family. He was a very devoted husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather. In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Bobbie Jean Danizio Somers of Crisfield; two daughters, Tammy Tull and her husband, Fred, and Mary Bradshaw and her husband, Stevie, all of Marion Station; one son, Allen W. Somers of Crisfield; two granddaughters, Kristy Tull Compton and her husband Joey of Salisbury and Brooke Nicole Bradshaw of Marion Station; two sisters, Mary Ruth Garrison and Margaret Dize and her husband, Bill Charnick, all of Crisfield; an aunt, Ann Baumeister and her husband, Ken, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; several nieces and nephews; and several cousins and his beloved pet dog, "Max". Funeral services were held July 17 at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. The Rev. Philip Morris officiated. Burial followed in Sunnyridge Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are requested to be sent to Lower Somerset County Ambulance and Rescue Squad, LSCARS, P.O. Box 406, Crisfield, MD 21817. Arrangements were in the care of Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home.
