Aleisa (Buggy) Nichols, 47

CAMBRIDGE - Aleisa (Buggy) Nichols, of Cambridge, departed this life on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in Dorchester General Hospital. She was 47. She was born April 10, 1961, in Maryland, daughter of Virginia (BB) and Otho Brisco. She received her education in Dorchester County Public Schools, graduating from Cambridge South Dorchester High School in 1979 and attended Coppin State College in Baltimore. She was employed with the Baltimore City Correctional Facility, Baltimore, before returning to Cambridge. She was later employed with DCDC until it was placed under new management. She leaves to celebrate and cherish her memory her son, Jaware Stephenson (Philadelphia, Pa.); parents, Otho and Virgina (BB) Brisco (Cambridge); a granddaughter, Ki'Ora Morton Stephenson (Cambridge); four sisters, Mona Butler (California), Roslyn Nichols Matthews (Baltimore), Trina Brisco (Cambridge) and Faye Carson (Easton); three aunts, Aloma Elliott (Cambridge), Mildred Jones (Linkwood) and Evelyn Banks (Cambridge); a great aunt, Estelle Barnes (Washington, D.C.) and a host of nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Rosco Pinder; and brother, Roddie Henry Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday in Bethel AME Church 623 Pine St Cambridge, with a viewing two hours prior to the services.
