MADISON - Adith M. Frazier, 86, passed away on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at Chesapeake Woods Center in Cambridge.

She was born in Hooper Island on April 11, 1920, and was a daughter of the late Leila Travers Jarrett.

Mrs. Frazier attended school in Hooper Island. On July 28, 1935, she married Howard Frazier who passed away on Dec. 16, 1973.

She worked for Bogash Sewing Factory in Cambridge and later at the Cambridge House until she retired. Some of her hobbies were bingo, dancing, reading and taking bus trips.

Mrs. Frazier was a member of Madison United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, a lifetime member of the Grace Foundation, Madison Church Organization, Madison Volunteer Fire Company, AARP, Women of the Moose and Choptank Memorial Post 7460 VFW.

She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis James and husband, Eddie of Madison and Joan Frazier of Cambridge; a son, Phillip "Boy" Frazier and his wife, Gloria of Madison; a brother, James W. Jarrett and wife, Henrietta of Madison; 11 grandchildren, Douglas Mayhorn and wife, Earlene, Cindy Walker, Jack James and wife, Carrie, John James and wife, Bernice, Daniel Frazier and wife, Kathy, Tommy Frazier and wife, Michelle, Missy Kenny and husband, Wade, Donna Travers and husband, Rodney, Joseph Kilmon Jr., Chris Kilmon and Pat Lebowitz and wife, Theresa; 28 great-grandchildren, Jason James and wife, Amanda, Megan Walling and husband, Ryan, Joshua King, Stephanie Kilmon, Morgan Walker, Jessica Hickman and husband, Louis, Jeremiah King, Stacey Colbert, Jacob Kenny, Sarah Kilmon, Bethany Kilmon, Skyler Kilmon, Parris Travers, Jade Kenny, Phillip Frazier, Doug Mayhorn, Andrew Kilmon, Miles Frazier, Joel Kilmon, Gabby Travers, Hope Travers, Jared Kilmon, Thomas Frazier, James Frazier, William Frazier, Shannon Simmons and husband, Scott, Timothy Adkins and Ryan Adkins; six great-great-grandchildren, Christian James, Malachi Colbert, Hayden James, Emilia Walker, Prudence Walling and Annabelle Ploutz; three special nieces, Susan Wingate and husband, Barry of Madison, Jean Vickers of St. Michaels and Joyce Jarrett of East New Market.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jackie Kilmon and Joseph Kilmon III.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Madison United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Kirkley and the Rev. A. Delmer Willey Jr. officiating. A visitation was held Monday evening at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., in Cambridge. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Willey, Richard Ball, Charles Moore, Charles Bromwell, J.B. Tieder and Bobby Aaron. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Abend, Woodrow Moran, Kenny Hubbard, Rick Neild, Nick Willey and David Frazier.
