CAMBRIDGE - Aaron Devon Robinson, 12, was born on Nov. 29, 1994, in Fitchburg, Mass., and Jairus Andrew Robinson, 8, was born on April 14, 1998, in Heidelberg, Germany, to Jenise D. Robinson and Jerome P. Robinson Jr. They departed this life as they lived, laughing, playing and having fun together. Always together, they departed this life together Feb. 11, 2007, in Cambridge.
Aaron attended Mace's Lane Middle School; whereas, Jairus attended Sandy Hill Elementary School.
This is a celebration of the home going of two little saints, Aaron and Jairus. The boys could always be found hanging out with their friends or zooming up and down their street on the motorcycles. The boys were very fond of riding, as it gave them quality time with their father, Jerome.
The boys loved their mother with the devotion that they gave to one another. They laughed and joked around the house and always had smiles on their faces. Aaron and Jairus were true brothers in every sense of the word. The bond they shared not only because they were brothers but because they were truly friends. This bond was tried and tested up until their final moments, and as always they were looking out for one another, loving one another. The boys were inseparable and will now be together always.
Aaron was sensitive in nature where he cared for his baby brother and was sometimes temperamental. On the other hand, Jairus was the little brother that was very outspoken but he would joke, make faces and always wanted to do whatever his big brother was doing.
In the three and half years they lived in Cambridge, they cared and nurtured their community that labels them as an icon. The legacy that they leave behind has touched not only their community, but the international communities as well.
To celebrate their sons home going the family wishes to raise their spirit high and send them on the wings of Doves to their final resting place with the father in heaven.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School, 2475 Cambridge Beltway with a viewing two hours prior to the services. Arrangements are being handled by Henry Funeral Home, P.A., in Cambridge.
