A variety of works to see in the ‘Lost and Found’ exhibit

The September gallery show at the Dorchester Center for the Arts brings a wide array of unique and stunning works to view. Artists featured in the exhibit include: Terry Griffin with Upcycled Furniture, Karen O’Dowd with Found Art; Susan Steward with Collage, Carol Gordean with Mosaics, plus a collaboration by Joyce L. Fritz Ritz with Line Design Characters and Elissa Crouch with Traditional Rug Hooking.

The exhibit will be on display through Sept. 28 and an Artists’ Reception will be held on Sept. 13 from 5 – 7:30 p.m. For more information, call 410-228-7782.

Literary Lunchbox

today at noon

Alex Stinton, winner of the Sophie Kerr Prize will be the speaker today at noon at the Dorchester Center for the Arts Literary Lunchbox. The event is free and attendees should bring a lunch; a dessert and beverage will be provided by Friends of the Dorchester County Library.
