2024 Kids Fishing Derby Saturday, August 3 at Long Wharf
CAMBRIDGE - The Mid-Shore Fishing Club invites youngsters ages 5-12 to Long Wharf in Cambridge for the annual Kids Fishing Derby from 9 a.m. to noon.
Bait and tackle will be provided, but personal rod and reel are welcome.
Water and pizza will also be provided for the kids, who must be accompanied by a guardian to participate.
1st and 2nd place prizes will be awarded for the largest rock, white perch, catfish, spot, and croaker.
Participation is free for all kids, and pre-registration by Wednesday, July 31 is required. Call 410-365-5723 or email name and phone number to Webmaster@mid-shorefishingclub.com with "Kids Fishing Derby" in the subject line.
Sponsors include the City of Cambridge, Danny's Soft Crabs, and WaWa.
