Rebecca Mae Haug, 48

     Rebecca Mae Haug passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, July 5th 2025. Rebecca was born on Friday, August 13, 1976 in Gastonia, North Carolina to the late Frank “Buddy” Carver and Belinda “Annie” Bonham.
    Rebecca worked various jobs as a vets assistant, a cook and also as a server at various restaurants in and around Dover before taking on the toughest job of all, as a stay at home Mom, caregiver and homemaker.
     Rebecca was an avid reader, she loved a good story. Her favorite being a good Stephen King or Edgar Allan Poe novel. She was also an excellent cook, whose biggest joy was making sure everyone had something to eat. She was a lover of music, poetry and art. Rebecca was a true animal lover, someone who would stop traffic to make sure a turtle was able to cross the road safely, and help it along if need be. And above all else, Rebecca was a very dedicated mother, wife, daughter, niece ,sister, and friend, who loved unconditionally.
     In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her father Floyd Wayne Pritchett in 2021. Her “Mamaw” (grandmother), Faye R Bumgarner in 2020 and also her ”Papaw”(grandfather) in 2018.
     She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Lawrence Haug III of Felton, DE. And their two sons Tyler Chance Pritchett of Felton DE and Zachary James Haug and his partner Emily Hopkins of Dover, DE. Three brothers, Wade Pritchett and his wife Misty Pritchett of Chesapeake, Virginia, Shannon Pritchett, and his wife Amber Pritchett, Shawn Pritchett and his wife Mary Pritchett, all of Marydel, DE. Two sisters, Selena Pritchett and Laura Tobias, and her husband Shawn Tobias of Felton DE. Also her aunt, Pamela Bumgarner and her partner Joyce Bratten of Dover, DE. Two uncles, Tim Bumgarner and his wife, Michelle Baumgarner of Felton DE, Stony Bumgarner and his wife, Beverly Bumgarner of Felton, DE. Her in-laws Lawrence Haug Jr. and his wife, Barbara Haug of Felton, DE and her Brother in-law Jim Haug and his wife Laura Haug of Milford, DE. Five nephews, Dustin, Jami, Jordan, Anthony, Mason. Two nieces, Stephanie and Hannah.
     A small gathering will be held at 12pm on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Wyoming Park, 313 W Third St., Wyoming, DE 19934. The Celebration of Life will follow at 2pm at Camden Wyoming Moose Lodge 203, 760  Moose Lodge Rd, Camden Wyoming, DE 19934.
