DOVER - Jeanne L. Grill passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025. She was born on May 26, 1947.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her be-loved husband, James. She is survived by her two daughters, Katherine Weston and Jessica Mallamace (Ralph); five cherished grandchildren; and three great-grandchil-dren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
A devoted homemaker and business owner, Jeanne had a rare gift for con-necting with others. She could strike up a meaningful conversation with anyone she met, making friends wherever she went. Her curiosity and love of learning were evident in her enjoyment of reading and watching documentaries. She often said that if she had started life over, she would have loved to be a paleontologist, fascinat-ed by history and discovery.
Jeanne spent many happy years visit-ing the beach in Cape Charles, Virginia, a place that held special meaning and count-less memories for her and her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Cross Church in Dover, Delaware, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribu-tions may be made to Wounded Warriors, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Code Purple.
Jeanne will be remembered for her warmth, intelligence, and the genuine kindness she shared so freely with every-one she encountered.
