Clydia Drucilla Isaacs passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026.
Clydia was born on February 23, 1932. She was raised in Milford, Delaware, by her loving parents, William Walter McGinnis and his wife, Melissa.
From a young age, she lived life to the fullest, always seeking adventure with friends. She continued her adventures with her beloved husband, J. Donald Isaacs, traveling the world, leaving no sight left unseen.
At home, she was a rock to her family, supporting all whom she loved. Together with her husband, they moved to Townsend, Delaware, in 1957. She helped her husband through the years with their successful farm they worked hard together to build. She was very involved in her community and church. She was a former president of the New Century Club and served on many community boards, such as “Friends of Old Drawyers Church” and the New Castle County Board of Adjustment.
She had many hobbies as she never sat still; golfing, boating, bridge with her friends, she was a joy to be around and filled the room with laughter.
Clydia has been preceded in death by her Husband Donald Isaacs, and her daughter, Melissa E. Pierce.
She is survived by her children, Nicholas W. Isaacs and Lisa D. Isaacs; her 5 grandchildren, Travis, Olivia, Sarah, Clydia, and Kristen; and her 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11 am at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, DE, where friends may visit from 10-11 am. Interment will be private in Old Drawyers Cemetery.
