Three nighttime Christmas parades starting out in Pocomoke City are followed in Crisfield and Princess Anne have their dates set and have announced they are now looking for participants to register.
Pocomoke City Christmas Parade
The Pocomoke City Christmas Parade marks its 51st year when it plays host to one of Delmarva’s largest night parades 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27.
Marching bands, decorated and lighted floats, fire departments, equestrian units, and more will bring in Santa Claus starting at 14th Street heading north on Market Street to end at the Pocomoke River.
Professional judges, including members of the National Judges Association (NJA), will score entries in many different categories. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded immediately following the event to the top entries in each category.

Crisfield Christmas Parade
The 2023 Christmas Parade hosted by the Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce is 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 starting at the Crisfield Library and ending at the City Dock.
Trophies will be awarded for the best fire department, marching band, float, golf cart, Jeep, group entry and Best Overall.

Princess Anne Christmas Parade
The Princess Anne Chamber of Commerce will hold its parade 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 with the theme “Christmas Lights in Princess Anne.”
All interested organizations and bands are invited to participate, with the lineup starting 5 p.m. in the Industrial Park then heading north on Somerset Avenue, ending past the firehouse.
Trophies will be awarded for first and second in categories to include marching band, dance team/majorettes, school groups, businesses, fire/EMS/police and others including youth groups under 12 and groups 13 and older.
