About a week ago, Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Ayanna Khan received a phone call.
It regarded an opportunity to host Liberian President-elect Joseph Boakai at the agency’s office in downtown Wilmington, and with the organization looking for ways to delve into the international market, Ms. Khan worked quickly to set up an event.
