Cape Henlopen Board of Ed to meet Thursday evening
LEWES — The Cape Henlopen Board of Education is scheduled to begin the public portion of its next meeting at 6 p.m. at Love Creek Elementary School, 19488 John J. Williams Highway on Thursday.
The public session follows an executive session where legal matters, discipline cases and personnel issues are discussed, which starts about 45 minutes earlier.
Among the issues on the agenda to be discussed are the execution of the contract between the Board of Education and the Cape Henlopen Education Association, the sole representative for collective negotiations for the professional employees of the board, as defined in Delaware code. There will also be a major capital projects update, per the agenda.
