HARRINGTON - Breakaway Racing and Yorwollohan Racing's Speed Away ($4.60, Corey Callahan) was a 1:54.4 winner in the $22,500 Open Trot on Wednesday at Harrington Raceway.

The Nick Callahan-trainee settled in fourth place early behind pacesetter That Ole Bar Stool, before a persistent backstretch grind to three-quarters, where he would steadily gain and eventually pass the leader in deep stretch.

That Ole Bar Stool was second with Manatlas taking third. It was the first win in five starts this year for the 6-year-old Father Patrick gelding.

The victory was one of two wins on the card for driver Callahan, who joined Russell Foster, Pat Berry and Allan Davis with a double.

Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule (post time 4:30 p.m.).
