MayFest in Odessa event Saturday to benefit Corbit-Calloway Memorial Library

ODESSA — The 11th annual MayFest in Odessa event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The event is a benefit for the Corbit-Calloway Memorial Library, the oldest free library in Delaware according to a news release. The library is located at 115 High Street.

MayFest in Odessa will feature crafters, vendors, food, games, inflatables, and prizes for kids. There will also be live music, a petting zoo, train rides, wandering costumed characters, a large book sale sponsored by our Friends of The Corbit-Calloway Memorial Library group, and a raffle with more than 100 prizes.

The event benefit’s the library’s summer reading program.

Admission is free, and tickets for special amusements will be sold separately.
The event drew more than 4,000 people last year and is held on the first Saturday of every May.
