DNREC offering discounted composters, rain barrels to Delaware residents
By LEWES — Just in time for International Compost Awareness Week, ending Sunday, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has purchased compost bins, rain barrels and accessories, and is offering them for sale at delaware.compostersale.com.
The ordering period is through July 11, with pickup scheduled for July 13 in various locations statewide.
In Sussex County, the items can be picked up at 901 Pilottown Road, Lewes; in Kent County, at 155 Commerce Way, Suite B, Dover; and in New Castle County, the pickup location is at 391 Lukens Drive, New Castle.
