DOVER — Bayhealth has announced that its 2023 Go Pink! initiative raised $60,622 for breast cancer awareness.

It was the 18th year that the health system has organized this effort to support the community and emphasize the importance of early detection.

The funds raised are split between Bayhealth and the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

“We are honored to support the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition and contribute to their efforts in raising awareness and providing screenings. Early detection is key in the fight against breast cancer, and we are proud to play a role in ensuring access to these vital services,” said John Shevock, executive director of the Bayhealth Cancer Institute and senior director of operations for the oncology service line.
