Zoo staff and Salisbury University partner for lectures
SALISBURY, Md. — The Night at the Zoo Lecture Series is a new partnership between Salisbury Zoo and Salisbury University, featuring talks by SU faculty and graduate students, as well as zoo staff.
The first spring lecture will take place March 28 at 6 p.m. The topic will be “Unexpected Discoveries in Animal Behavior,” presented by Angela Freeman, assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at SU.
The second lecture, on April 11 at 6 p.m., will be “Global Threats to Wildlife and the Surprisingly Simple Way You Can Help Save Them” by Dr. Aaron Hogue, associate professor in SU’s Department of Biological Sciences.
The third discussion, on May 16 at 6 p.m., will be “Bring the Zoo to You: Building a Biodiversity Bonanza to Improve Your Health Right at Home” by Kim Quillin, visiting assistant professor in SU’s Biological Sciences Department.
All presentations will be given in the zoo’s ESBA Education Center.
