The James M. Bennett High Clippers boys soccer team won the Maryland 3A State Championship trophy after the team’s victory over C. Milton Wright High on Friday.

The teams were scoreless through two overtimes, and JMB won 4-2 on penalty kicks.

Parkside High School, meanwhile, celebrated a 1-0 victory over Harford Tech in the Maryland 2A State Championship game on Saturday.

For two Salisbury schools to win state championships in consecutive days is unprecedented.
