BALTIMORE — The Maryland Humanities Council is hosting a virtual Humanities Network Meeting for Lower Shore residents and organizational leaders 1 p.m. Thursday, June 2.
Maryland Humanities works to create vibrant communities where the humanities play a central role in public life and where local stakeholders actively support humanities organizations. It seeks to have community groups, universities, colleges, libraries, museums, and historical societies pool their resources in order to assess, enhance, and communicate their public impact in ways that ultimately foster greater regional support for the humanities.
This virtual meeting is an opportunity for humanities partners located in Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties to collaborate, share resources, and demonstrate to local stakeholders and policymakers the value of humanities work in their communities. To register visit here.
