Sleep medicine in Delaware accredited

Posted

SEAFORD – TidalHealth Sleep Medicine in Seaford and Millsboro, under the medical directorship of Dr. Jacques Conaway, underwent successful site visits on April 14 by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Both were granted full five-year sleep facility accreditation with no provisions.

“Full accreditation with no provisions validates that TidalHealth Sleep Medicine demonstrates a commitment to provide the highest quality diagnostic services and management of sleep patients,” said Dr. Conaway. “Our team is dedicated to providing our patients with best possible care in sleep medicine."

Since 1977, the AASM standards for accreditation have been the gold standard by which the medical community and the public evaluate sleep medicine facilities. Achieving AASM accreditation demonstrates a sleep medicine provider’s commitment to high quality, patient-centered care through adherence to these standards.

The TidalHealth Sleep Centers in Seaford, Millsboro and Salisbury, Maryland treat a full range of sleep disorders from the most common to the most complex. To learn more about their complete and comprehensive services,  visit tidalhealth.org/sleep.
