The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware to hold service

Posted

The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware, an inclusive religious community, will hold an in-person and livestreamed service titled "The Work of Peace" Sunday.

The service, held Oct. 10 at 10 a.m.,  will be led by Rev. Heather Rion Starr. Reservations are required for the in-person service. For more information, go online.

In a news release, the church notes that, "Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh teaches that we have no hope of creating peace in our relationships or our world if we are not actively working to create peace within ourselves. In the weekly UUSD Affirmation, we say that we covenant 'to dwell together in peace.' How is it going for us in this effort? What are we learning about the work that peace requires?"
