Shooting in Millsboro leaves one injured
By MILLSBORO - An injurious shooting in the 30000 block of Ayers Lane Monday is under investigation, Delaware State Police spokesperson India Sturgis said.
Troopers were called to the scene at approximately 8:43 p.m, and found that a residence had been shot numerous times with an unknown firearm, police said.
The homeowner sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso and was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
No one else was harmed, according to authorities.
The circumstances and motive surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
