SEAFORD — The city was abuzz with Seaford’s Community Night Out Against Crime & Drugs on Thursday.

The event, spearheaded by the Seaford Police Department, featured more than 50 local, county and state service and community organizations.

It was held on the grounds of the police station and the Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club.

The mission of the gathering was to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the Seaford community.

Among the attractions were the Delaware State Police Trooper 2 helicopter and a DSP K-9 demonstration.

Two lucky attendees were winners of bike raffles: Bayne Herd, 3, of Blades and Dayana Lopez-Ramirez, 8, of Seaford.
