REHOBOTH BEACH — Fourteen photos submitted to the Rehoboth Reflections photo competition have been selected to be featured in the city's 2022 calendar.

The photos include a variety of locations and subject matters and collectively provide a graphic representation of the simultaneously ubiquitous and unique ways that Rehoboth Beach is special to so many.

While the city’s 2022 calendar won’t be out until December, the winning photos can be viewed online.

Eighty-two individuals submitted 152 photos to the inaugural Rehoboth Reflections competition.

“We were really pleased and grateful for the enthusiasm shown for the photo competition and for the wonderful Rehoboth-area perspectives that were shared,” said communications specialist Lynne Coan. “Rehoboth is certainly a photogenic community, and we loved the variety of iconic locations and experiences that were captured in the submitted photographs.”

The city has reopened the Rehoboth Reflections competition and is now accepting submissions for the 2023 calendar. Photographers may submit up to three photos each year.

“Our hope is that by opening the submission period for most of the year, residents and visitors alike will think to submit their photos of Rehoboth from all seasons as they take them,” Ms. Coan said.

The deadline for photo submissions for the 2023 calendar is Sept. 9, 2022. Photos may be submitted online.
