Milford City Council will remain unchanged

Posted

MILFORD — The filing cutoff for candidates looking to run for Milford City Council was Tuesday at 4 p.m.

According to Councilman Todd Culotta, no one signed up to challenge the four incumbents whose seats were up for election this year. The other four council members were not up for election in 2021 but will be next year.

“All sitting council members that were up for election filed, and there were no other contenders that filed,” he said.

This means that Vice Mayor Jason James — who is also a councilman for the 4th Ward — Councilman Dan Marabello of the 1st Ward, Councilman Doug Morrow of the 3rd Ward and Councilman Culotta of the 2nd Ward will all retain their seats for another two years.
