Letter to the Editor: Process for second vaccination much better than first

I’m a “senior” senior. I got my second vaccination shot at Dover International Speedway. I had gotten my first shot at the Division of Motor Vehicles in Delaware City in January, where I came away angry, disgusted, tired and hungry because I had to sit 2 3/4 hours waiting. I found out a friend who had a later appointment the same day waited six hours!

I want to compliment those who planned the vaccination event at the speedway. It could not have been done better. Although there were many cars for the morning session, I was in and out in 18 minutes! Congratulations to the planners and everybody who contacted me at the event. All were polite and cordial and downright friendly. Thanks to all of you. The whole country could learn from Delaware.
