DOVER — Delaware State University’s College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences celebrates the return to live theater by bringing a classic board game and motion picture to life with “Clue: On Stage” at the Schwartz Center for the Arts, on Friday and Saturday. Both performances begin at 7 p.m.

The play, based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn, and written for the stage by Sandy Rustin, focuses on six guests who assemble at the remote Boddy Manor for a dinner party. When their host turns up dead, Wadsworth the Butler, Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard must race to find the killer.

The 14-member cast (mostly DSU students) includes the primary ensemble of Ciara Andre as Ms. Peacock, Chaleese Shankin as Col. Mustard, Bria Williams as Mrs. White, Sonia Heredia as Yvette, Jessica Taylor as Miss Scarlett, Ebube Maduka as Wadworth the butler, Maddie Anderson Pomerleau, as the cook, and Andrew Pomerleau as Mr. Green.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the box office (cash only). The Schwartz Center for the Arts is at 226 S. State St.
