Appoquinimink
Classes will be held asynchronous online. Schools are communicating schedules and assignments to students and parents.
Capital School District
Closed, no in-person, virtual or remote instruction for students. All 10-month employees will have a service day, and 12-month employees are to report at noon if road conditions permit.
"We anticipate additional inclement weather systems this week," Superintendent Vilicia Cade said in a message on the distric'ts website. "To this end, we will continue to monitor the weather conditions and update our Senator Nation as necessary."
"We will continue to analyze COVID and its impact on our staffing. Weather permitting, we intend to return to in-person learning on Wednesday, January 5th or will shift to remote learning. Your patience and understanding are most important," she added.
Cape Henlopen
Closed, and there will be no instruction.
Caesar Rodney
Closed with no instruction.
Indian River
Closed. All 12-month employees should check their district e-mail accounts for information on their work status for Tuesday.
Lake Forest
Closed.
Laurel
Closed. There will be no remote instruction. All other staff are not to report.
Milford
Closed.
Seaford
Closed with no instruction, but 12 month employees will work remotely.
Smyrna
Closed, with teachers and paraprofessionals to provide virtual instruction to their students, via live or asynchronous delivery. Teachers, specifically, will reach out to their students this evening to share access information.
Woodbridge
Closed.
