Delaware nonprofits are invited to apply for the Delaware Community Foundation’s Specific Interest Grants by 5 p.m. Jan. 6, 2023.

From the performing arts to animal welfare, there is a variety of “field of interest” funding available that provides a structured opportunity for eligible groups whose missions align with specific areas.

The foundation’s Grants Committee will evaluate these applications and make recommendations to its board for approval.

For fiscal year 2023, grant applications are being accepted for programs that support:

• Arts initiatives statewide.
• Fulfillment of terminally ill children’s wishes.
• Animals and animal welfare.

Interested applicants should review the grant guidelines at here for information about eligibility and parameters. Applicants will be notified of decisions in February.
