CAPE Business Network donates to Food Rescue

REHOBOTH BEACH — CAPE Business Network presented a check for $1000 and over 1000 pounds of food to Gerrie Boisjoly, food rescue coordinator of Epworth United Methodist Church, Rehoboth Beach.

The kitchen at Epworth’s collects and prepares food to feed those in need in the community. The donation was made April 29.

Through the cooperation of Safeway Supermarket and the generosity of hundreds local residents, volunteers from the CAPE Business Network were able collect the food and donate it to Epworth.
