Brief shutdown during Georgetown water project

GEORGETOWN — On Thursday, as part of the town’s water main replacement project, contractors will need to temporarily shut down part of its water service.

The shutdown will begin at 10 a.m. The area affected will be East Market Street, between Parsons Lane and Airport Road. The main will only be closed for a short period.

Once completed, water service will be restored.
