FRANKFORD — There will be no election or changing of hands in town government this year.
Facing no opposition, Town Council incumbents Edward “Skip” Ash, Pamela Davis and James Sample will remain in their seats with new two-year terms.
They were the only candidates to file by the deadline of Jan. 24.
Had it been necessary, the town’s election would have been this Saturday.
The three council members will be sworn in at Monday’s meeting, said town clerk Cheryl Lynch.
The terms for Council President Greg Welch and Councilman John Wright are up for election in 2023.
