SALISBURY — Wicomico Recreation & Parks’ offers opportunities for adult members of the community to play pickleball, softball, kickball and wiffle ball this spring.
New to the county this spring are the men’s & women’s pickleball leagues. Teams of 2-4 players will play on Wednesday evenings at The Courts at Harmon Field. Competitive and casual divisions are available. This program is team entry only at $100 per team.The Spring Fling pickleball tournament returns May 4-5 at The Courts at Harmon Field. Players of all skill levels are invited to join. Every player will receive a tournament T-shirt. Tournament entry is $40 for all events.
Coed slow pitch softball, sanctioned through USSSA, consists of different divisions to accommodate recreational and competitive teams. Games will be held Wednesday evenings at Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex and other county facilities as needed. Registration is $815 for team entry. League/individual entry is $375 per team + $37 per player. Adult kickball is a social sports program. Games will be held Monday evenings at Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex. Recommended team size is 12-15 players. Registration is $300 per team.The Cabin Fever Breakout wiffle ball tournament is happening April 20 and 21 at the Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex on Field 7 1/2. Equipment will be provided. Registration into this coed tournament costs $100 per team.
