Wicomico County Recreation & Parks’ Good Beer Festival returns to Pemberton Historical Park Friday through Saturday, Oct. 13-14.
As always, the festival features numerous craft and domestic beers, ciders, seltzers and wine, along with live music and food vendors. Beyond just having good beer, the festival offers several ways to have some good times.
Whiskey & Randy’s Adult Spelling Bee
Whiskey & Randy’s Adult Spelling Bee returns Friday night to challenge festival goers in this onstage competition.
Ten people will have the opportunity to be crowned this year’s spelling bee champion. Prospective participants can register on site. The spelling bee begins at 8 p.m. and is hosted by Whiskey and Randy of Froggy 99.9.
Games
test your strength and throwing ability at the crowd favorite keg toss. While you are there, try your hand at some other beer-themed games for a chance to win prizes.
Always looking to level up the fun factor, the festival is introducing duck races to the roster this year. Choose your own live duck (for a small fee) and cheer it on as it races against others. Proceeds from the duck races support the Wicomico County Fair Youth Livestock Showmen program.
Tickets
Early bird tasting tickets are available through Friday, Oct. 6, at 5 p.m. and are $30. Regular tasting tickets are $40. Non-tasting tickets are available for $10. Tickets can be redeemed either day of the festival.
