DOVER — Wayne Kersey, 31, of Dover, was arrested on DUI and related charges following a crash Monday, said Sgt. Mark Hoffman of the Dover Police Department.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a residence at 1105 S. DuPont Highway for a report that a red Dodge Ram had crashed into the structure. When officers arrived, no one was in the vehicle.

Two apartments were occupied, but no residents were injured. Officers determined that Mr. Kersey was the owner of the Ram, then checked the area and located him just south of the location, Sgt. Hoffman said.

When officers contacted Mr. Kersey, he had minor injuries and glass on him.

He was charged with DUI, first-degree reckless endangering, criminal mischief, reckless driving and multiple traffic offenses.
