PRINCESS ANNE — Winter Commencement at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore is 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in the William P. Hytche Arena. Admittance starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 9:50.

In addition to those newly-eligible to receive a diploma, spring 2022 degree candidates may also participate. All participants must be dressed in the official maroon and gray regalia.

Rehearsal will be Thursday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m., with a meeting in the Student Services Center ballroom.

To continue CDC guidelines graduates are limited to four ticketed guests so the venue is maintained at half capacity. Guests are also required to submit either a COVID-19 vaccination card (with booster indicated) for an early ticket or show a negative COVID-19 test taken between Dec. 13-15.

Information about COVID-19 protocols is online. There will also be a health screening at the door. For more details call the Office of Enrollment Management & Student Experience at 410-651-6687.

Those unable to attend in person will be able to watch the program live online.
