Two injured in Milford shooting

MILFORD — Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by gunfire Sunday, Milford police spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten said.

Officers were called to the 500 block of Truitt Avenue at approximately 6:39 p.m. and found two wounded males, police said.

One was treated at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus, Sgt. Masten said, while the other was transported to Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus.

Police asked anyone with information on the incident to call 422-8081 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. Tips can also be submitted here.

Sgt. Masten said that while no suspect information is available at this time, the investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
