SEAFORD — A 35-year-old Seaford man and 38-year-old Greenwood woman were arrested on drug charges after a business property check early Wednesday, authorities said.
According to Delaware State Police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Heather Pepper, George Reha was found to be standing outside a blue pickup truck in the rear of the Service Today business at 9349 Old Furnace Road at approximately 2:45 a.m. The woman was sitting in the driver seat of a Lincoln sedan.
Mr. Reha was contacted and found in possession of approximately .021 grams of heroin, approximately 8.80 grams of cocaine, $5,161 in suspected drug proceeds, and drug paraphernalia.
The woman was contacted in the sedan. A strong odor of alcoholic beverages was detected, police said, and a DUI investigation ensued. A subsequent search of her vehicle was conducted, and located inside were approximately 1.07 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and approximately $1,262 in suspected drug proceeds.
Mr. Reha was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released on a $4,500 unsecured bond.
The female was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arraigned in JP Court and released on a $1,500 unsecured bond.
