Governor Larry Hogan last week announced the formation of a redistricting commission for the state’s congressional election districts. Of Maryland’s eight, seven are now represented by Democrats.

Delegate Chris Adams (R-37B) was chosen last week to be the Republican Party’s House Minority Whip.
CONGRATULATIONS: I admire your tenacity and approach to resolving the most difficult conflicts. Best wishes in your future position, we need you in there.

LOOKING FORWARD: Hoping to see great things from you. Let’s get this redistricting done fairly.

ACROSS THE BAY: With all due respect, Republicans don’t have a chance in the state of Maryland. We are ruled by the western shore.
