SALISBURY -- Seventy-seven firefighters battled the blaze that consumed a three-story family home on April 13 in Salisbury.
According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's report, no one was injured in the fire. Damages to the 2,850 square foot brick and wood framed Gloucester Court dwelling were estimated at $270,000 to the structure and $30,000 to the contents.
The fire was reported at 1:04 p.m. It took firefighters 75 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
According to the Fire Marshal's report, the fire started on the rear porch and was discovered by a neighbor. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Salisbury Fire Department was the primary responding department.
